Howard J. Pfeffer's legal secretary, Leslie D'Alessio, is a "local gal", having graduated from Passaic County Tech in 1993. She improved her job skills by attending and graduating from the American Business Academy in 1994.

During her ensuing years in the legal profession, Leslie gaining vast experience in legal work. Over the years, she discovered she had a particular interest in family law.

Leslie’s aptitude in family law resulted in her employment with family law practitioners, including another leading New Jersey family lawyer.
